Mr. Puliyel is President, IMRB, India’s oldest research organisation. His vision and focus has led IMRB to be the only research organisation in India to be associated with almost 40 out of the 50 top brands in India, thus making the organisation a “specialist for every research need.
Thomas Puliyel has a postgraduate degree in management from IIM Calcutta. He has 29 years of work experience in market research. He began his career in Operations Research Group and joined IMRB in 1981 as Manager, Overseas Projects. He was associated with IMRB till early 1992 as Senior Vice President after which he moved to set up Research International India as Country Manager. He returned to IMRB in September 2000 as its President.
He was Member, World Economic Forum, Global Agenda Council on the Future of Consumer Industries, 2014-16. And Life Member of Market Research Society of India (MRSI). He has been in this industry for around three decades.
