Tanvi Aher is a developmental sector professional with over eight years of work experience. She is an Anthropology Post Graduate from University of Pune and has completed her PhD in multidisciplinary issues in anthropology.
Tanvi headed the Child Sexual Abuse School Awareness Programme in CHILDLINE India Foundation for over four years. Before that she worked with YASHADA (Training Institute of Government of Maharashtra), Pathfinder International, and University of Pune as Programme Officer, Consultant and Research Assistant respectively.
She has extensive experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research across topics such as child sexual abuse, seasonal migration, women and child malnourishment, and environmental pollution. Her speech on malnutrition among tribal woman was broadcast on AIR. She has also written for a regional dictionary and academic reference books. Four of her research articles were published in national and International journals.
