Pooja Yadav is a developmental sector professional with over seven years of work experience. She is a Social work Postgraduate from University of Mumbai (College of Social work Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai). Pooja headed the Child Rights Thematic Program in YUVA (Youth for Unity & Voluntary Action) for over four years. Along with that she has experience of working in urban areas in different communities like Homeless, Pavement Dwellers, Informal Settlements and Rehabilitation and Resettlement colonies for facilitating the Basic Services. She has experience of working with children, women, youth, and Informal Migrant Laborers in the past. She has experience of Networking and Lesioning with Urban Local Bodies and Labour Department. She has also worked towards Localizing Sustainable Development Goals and she has advocated for ensuring Child Participation in drafting of Development Plan Mumbai (2014-2034).
